Saint Christopher, the patron saint of travellers, including mariners, drivers, motorists, and sailors. Offering protection from storms,
disease, lightning, archers, epilepsy, floods, and sudden death. He is also revered by athletes, surfers, and transportation workers. He is syncretized with
Aganju, who is the orisha of volcanoes, mountains, and the desert.
Saint Matthew, the patron saint of bankers and tax reform. One of the twelve Apostles, he is the author of the first gospel. Early on
he was a tax collector by profession, and was called to be an Apostle in Capernaum. He encourages strength in trials to come, and that all should turn
to hope, faith, and love to receive blessings from God.
Saint Jude, the patron saint of impossible causes and miracles. He is the one to turn to when all avenues appear to be closed, and is commonly prayed to
in critical health issues or life-and-death situations. It has become a tradition to publish thanks to Saint Jude in the newspaper when you call upon and receive his
help. This helps spread his name and gives hope to those who are also in need.
